Waukegan Arts Council Grants
The purpose of the Waukegan Arts Council grant program is to promote art in Waukegan by providing a subsidy to working Waukegan artists and to support high quality public art experiences, encourage artistic expression and public participation, and promote cultural appreciation for our diverse community.
Grant applications
Grant applications will be available April 1, 2024.
Micro Grants
The purpose of the 2024 Micro Grant program is to provide a subsidy to working Waukegan artists for the production of their art. Grants up to $500 will be awarded to artists who are actively engaged in their chosen medium and who demonstrate a need for funds to purchase supplies or equipment, secure a venue, attend a class or obtain necessary resources to engage in the applicant’s art form.
Public Art Grants
The purpose of the 2024 Public Art Grant program is to promote art in Waukegan. Grants will be awarded to projects which support high quality public art experiences, encourage artistic expression, energize public participation, and promote cultural appreciation for our diverse community.
